Chinese New Year (Indonesian Imlek) is a 1day national holiday in Indonesia. Chinese people have lived there since at least the 15th century, when Zheng Hes ships visited its islands for the Yongle Emperor of the Ming, and many more came when the Netherlands held the islands as a colony.
